Michael Whelchel is Founder and CEO of Big Path Capital (www.bigpath.com) – a leading boutique investment bank working with positive impact companies and funds in capital raises and exits / liquidity events. Founded in 2007, Big Path Capital has developed one of the largest networks of impact investors in the industry. With the clear objective of leveraging capitalism as a force for good for all stakeholders, Big Path Capital has worked with leading impact companies and funds including Vital Farms, Traditional Medicinals, SJF Ventures, Builders Fund and Jonathan Rose Companies.
Michael received his BA summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from the University of the South in Sewanee, TN and received a joint MBA and MEM (Master of Engineering Management) from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University where he was named a Kellogg Youn Impact Scholar.
